Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced players winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make frenzied selections.

It is also simpler to participate in for a very long time with only a little bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer gets seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
