Freeroll Poker Tournaments – The Best Deal Of All!

Free poker tournaments are every day competitions that happen on a lot of the greatest web poker sites. Freerolls are greatly enjoyed by the poker wagering community as they provide the poker competitors the chance to gain some bona fide money without losing any. The buyin to these freerolls is – as the name suggests – free of charge and jackpot money can range from a few bucks for placing to hundreds of dollars for winning the huge freeroll texas hold’em poker tournaments.

So how come the poker websites have free tournaments? Is it as a result of their extremely generous nature and the fact that they make huge amounts of $$$$ so they feel a moral obligation to give some of it back?

What do you believe!

No of course it isn’t, the reason that the huge poker sites provide freerolls is to lure people to their site.

Here’s the theory in a nutshell – You hear that a site has an excellent freeroll, it costs you nada to participate in and you will be able to come away with one hundred dollars. You think "fantastic!" and you go along to the site and sign up as a member so that you can gamble on the freeroll. You bet and finish early and are annoyed on the grounds that you believe you should have done much better, or you go close to winning and so you’re seeking some more play. What do you do? You spend some $$$$ at the poker room and bet on another poker game!

Always investigate the free tournaments for cash-out stipulations, you will just about always need to compete in a couple of hands for actual money before they let you take the money out. Often this is on a 1 to 1 basis, so if you capture 20 dollars at the free poker tournament you will have to have played for 20 dollars in bonafide money in order for you to be able to claim the money.
